We’re thrilled to announce the winner of the 2025 Open Play Post Pickleball Venue of the Year, drumroll again for extra flair, Diadem Pickleball Complex in Coconut Creek, FL! 🏆
After an incredible year filled with over 100 fabulous entries from across the nation, from the lively courts of Wicked Pickle in Portland, ME, to the stunning Pickleball Zone in Bend, OR, thousands of passionate players cast their votes. And guess what? The competition was fierce with the winner being determined in the final few votes, but Diadem in Coconut Creek stood out with its top-notch facilities, vibrant community, and what has to be the highest ceiling of any indoor venue in the world!
This venue truly captured the hearts of readers and local players alike, earning the title thanks to its excellent courts, welcoming atmosphere, and dedication to growing the sport. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, Diadem offers a space where everyone can enjoy an epic game and good times.
There were also several honorable mentions for outstanding venues. These were determined by feedback from readers and voters and our editorial team. In no particular order they are:
Best Food: The Exchange - New Orleans LA. With alligator bites and crawfish wontons, their food delivers a great post play experience.
Most Extras: Wolverine Pickleball - Ann Arbor MI. From curling to volleyball, there’s so much to do if you get pickled out.
Community Service: Box Pickleball - Riverhead NY. Generously hosting events for causes including Tunnels to Towers and Little Saint Nick Foundation.
Best New Venue: The Fort - Ft Lauderdale FL. With it’s grand opening just a few months ago, the Fort has quickly garnered raving fans.
